Assisted Suicide
In the world, is there anybody who never gets ill? Is there anybody who can get over all the diseases? For these questions, I can say surly that there is nobody can do that, but if there are some people who cannot suffer the pains from disease, what can they do, choose to die? Should they do that? Could they do that? God creates human beings and gives them right to live; however, did god give them right to end their lives? Nowadays, there is a problem that whether assisted suicide should be legal catches and holds our concern. What is assisted suicide? It is helping a person to end his or her life by request in order to end suffering. Recently, there are so many views about assisted suicide; somebody thinks that it should be legal and somebody not; but in my opinion, assisted suicide should not be legal, and I will talk about both opponents and agreement in this essay.
The first opponent that assisted suicide should be legal is that some patients cannot suffer from the diseases, and dead can release them from those sufferings. In fact, these phenomena are not rare. For instance, I lived with grandparents when I was child, and there was a kind old lady called Mrs. Wang who lived beside my house; in my memory, she always smiled when I saw her. After I graduated from primary school, I went to live with my parents; however, just in these few years, I found Mrs. Wang changed when I came back. She became wan and thin, and sometimes groaned; when I asked why, my grandfather told me that she had got a serious gastric disease. Everybody knows that it’s not a good feeling when people get gastric diseases, as Mrs. Wang is an old lady, this is surly terrible for her; thus, if assisted suicide become legal, the doctor can help her to end her life by request and it may be a good thing for her to reduce these sufferings. However, the doctor’s belief is not reducing people’s suffering by end their lives; it should be curing the disease. It is well known that doctor is the angel in the world, but if assisted suicide become legal, their original belief will change. Nowadays, people go to hospital because the doctors will try their best to cure their patient, no matter how serious the ill is, no matter how hard the work is. In order to solve some difficult problem, lots of doctors and scientists work hard to find new method and new technologies. However, after assisted suicide become legal, the things may get easier; when patient suffers a lot from a disease and the doctor find it hard to cure, the doctor can just help patient to assisted suicide; though the doctor may reduce the pain of patient by this way, can we still call them angel? Of course not; therefore, assisted suicide should not be legal.
I choose the topic about animal rights.In my opinion, animals are equal to human beings, they should have enough rights to live such as space and food. However, because of us, the environment is not as good as it used to be, and this is unfair for those animals. We should protect the world and give animals enough rights.
This week, I got a fever, which made me very sick. Because of this, I can hardly focus on anything such as study and play; all the thing I can do was just lying on bed. But thanks to the medicine, I feel better now. I really hate ill, and after this, I know more about that how important the health is.
Recently, the weather turned cooler, but I like this. If there is just one pattern of weather, it would be very boring. As the weather changes a lot, it has more fun to live here.
However, I do not expect that the winter coming soon, because I fear cold, though the snowfalls are beautiful. After I am familiar with here, maybe I will love the winter here, but who knows?
Today is Saturday, another weekends coming. Every weekends, I would like to get a long long sleep, as I feel tired during the weekdays; however, there are lots of things to do at weekends, such as homework and playing games.
As it is known, homework is very important, so that finish it is the first thing I which I will do. After doing that, usually I will listen some music or watch animation to relax myself.
Besides, sometimes there will be some parties, which I may take part in.
This is my weekends, a simple weekends.
As the world develops faster and faster, the level of living gets higher and higher; however, at the same time, the pollution is becoming heavier and heavier, which causes the global warming, one of the most serious problems at nowadays. And the outcomes can mainly result from the development of industry, the manual damage of nature, and the increasing population. To be the largest origin of global warming, the development of industry which is one of the main ways to consume coals, petroleum, and natural gas, contributes a lot to rise the whole temperature of the world. When people making things such as cars, computers, and boondoggles, they usually use the energy by burning petroleum; however, they do not concern about the result of that. Actually, every time you burn the petroleum, it will release a lot of heat which directly rising global temperature; also, a large quantity of carbon dioxide, which is a greenhouse gas, will be created accompanied that. What’s more, as the problem becomes more serious, many developed countries do not slow down burning the petroleum, which makes the matter worse. In addition, the damage of nature by man is another reason for causing global warming. As we know, the acreage of forests are reduced year by year, simply because people need woods to build buildings, or to make some boondoggles; however, they do not think about trees which can absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, thus, as a result, by gathering more and more carbon dioxide, the temperature becoming higher and higher. Though a lot of people have realized this problem, there are still many people continuing damage the environment.
Global Warming
As the world develops faster and faster, the pollution is becoming heavier and heavier, which causes the global warming. As a result, South Pole starts melting, if we going on polluting, the world will be covered by the ocean. Also, with the higher temperature, lots of wild animals have to change their habits to adjust the new environment, which may lead some species to death.
In conclusion, if we want to protect wild animals, if we want to protect ourselves, we must stop polluting and solve the problem of global warming.
Introduction of myself
My name is Rane. I come from China, which has a long and beautiful history. When I was young, I was deeply impressed by it. In my mind, there existed so many fantastic stories of great people. Besides, I am also interested in animals, army and so on. In my opinion, it is essential to have widely knowledge about the things around you. In my free time, listening music refreshes my soul and cleans my heart. Actually, taking a rest on a bed with soft music will be really satisfying. Also, table tennis and badminton is my favorite, when I takes them, I feel very releasable and exciting.Finally, in my opinion, I am a boy who is outgoing and naughty (may- be), and a boy who is always myself.
1.(1) When I in high school, I usually write compositions. As I begin writing it, I will make a beginning so as to include the topic and lead to the following text. And then I will find support about it, and at last, I will give a conclusion about it.
1.(2) I’d like to write a writing like an academic writing, but also I’m very poor at it, because there is a difference between chinese writing habit and american writing habit.
2.I, of course, enjoy my native language, as it including a great culture. I write compositions and humorous stories sometime in my native language.
3.When I was in junior school, I kept a diary just for some important things, but now I don’t use it because my habit has changed.
4.I want to learn the habit of American writing, and the skills of writing academic writings.
